Cleaning with ADHD

I get it, I have AUDHD, and lived my life in squalor and lived like a slob until I became a foster child and got adopted. So, here’s what I learned about trying to be clean

Break down tasks into parts Its hard when you see it, and think “Okay I have to do all of this NOW” so for example try and break down each part into tasks such as; Clothes, trash, bed, discombobulated trinkets and such and take breaks within a 5 to 10 minute span.

if your brain is being jittery and wonkabobbled, try and just do them halfway, and deal with it later Even just straightening out your bed is better than leaving it unmade!

You got this!

I ask myself is it still relevant? will I miss it? is it useful?

I try to focus on one area and organize and sort and find the things I’m keeping a home.

I have an app called finch that I really like, you can set goals to happen at certain times of the week, like cleaning my desk or doing laundry. This can also work with a normal calendar, but apps are always nice.
