100%cotten and you can Use wooden hooks
When it comes to crochet hooks, I think metal hooks are the best choice in the long run. I’ve had problems with small hook sizes made from wood or bamboo because they can break easily, especially when they’re thin. Metal hooks are much more durable and reliable.
For yarn, I would avoid using too much acrylic or plush yarn since both are made from plastic. A good alternative is cotton yarn. Cotton is actually my personal favorite—I think it looks better than acrylic and feels nicer to work with. It is usually more expensive, and 100g of cotton yarn often gives you less length compared to 100g of acrylic yarn because acrylic is lighter.
For clothing, I recommend wool, alpaca, or other animal fibers. Sheep wool, for example, keeps you warm while still being breathable, which makes it great for garments. It’s my favorite material for clothing. However, it can sometimes feel itchy, so it’s a good idea to feel the yarn before buying to make sure you’re comfortable with it.
Thanks for the tips!
The climate change is srysly getting more and more extreme I’ve been more aware this year as Im crocheting a weather blanket and the warm colors are appearing wayyyyy to soon for where I live.
