Hello all! It’s been a while since I’ve posted a tester call, but I’m finally back!
I’m looking for people to test my small jellyfish keychain pattern.
There’s no specific yarn I require, no specific hook size, just whatever you have on hand is fine with me! You also do not need to add a keychain to the top.
Here are the rules:
No ghosting (duh)
Must comment what hook size and yarn you’ll use
Finish before or on the deadline
Must post a journal with a photo
Deadline: June 9th 2025 (This should be plenty of time to make a 30 min pattern)
Extensions for up to 3 days after the deadline are available for good reasons.
If it turns out after you’ve been accepted to test that you will not be able to complete the pattern test, please lmk. Once again, no ghosting.

This looks absolutely adorable! I’d love to try it out!
I’d be using Premier Just Chenille with a 5mm hook. I may try using a smaller hook as well to see how it works. I bet the emerald color would look beautiful.
Is there a group chat for the testing? Other tests I’m doing have had one but I didn’t see an invite for this one. I’ll just post a few things here.
I noticed that the pattern system doesn’t recognize MC, I believe other patterns have MR and it recognizes that for magic ring in the abbreviations as well as a stitch with a guide when tapped out clicked on. Just handy for newer users to be able to tap it to see how to do the correct stitch.
Also maybe suggest to use a stitch marker to mark the start of the back loops before doing the front loops? I usually put a marker on the last stitch so when I went back to do the inside I had troubles finding the correct starting point. Marked it on my second try and it went MUCH nicer. Part of this may be my lack of experience but I always appreciate a good suggestion in a pattern. These have come out super adorable though. Making a journal entry as soon as I finish making and attaching the tentacles to the second one.
, would love to participate. I would use a similar yarn, with a 5 mm hook. I live in Switzerland, Im not sure how you would call this yarn type, but it looks really really similar to yours.
