Thank you to everyone who applied! I’m overwhelmed with the love everyone’s had for this little guy!
Testers will be notified soon!
I need testers for my Sylas the Field Mouse - Fellowship of the Forest - Low Sew - Crochet ePattern
Due Date: Feb. 27th
Hello my lovely crochet friends!
I’m looking for 6–8 pattern testers to help bring Sylas the Field Mouse to life. He is the second of my Fellowship of the Forest Collection, inspired by the works of J.R.R Tolkien! If you’d like to join us on our journey, here’s what I’m looking for:
Create a project journal with at least one finished photo (natural lighting is always appreciated!). I am planning on sharing these photos on my socials once the pattern is released. I reach out for account names when applicable. ![]()
Share your thoughts and feedback in the group chat—things like typos, unclear wording, or anything that could make the pattern smoother.
Stay active in our group chat and reply as quickly as you can, as I check in through the testing process (I will try and do the same).
Send a quick response to the welcome message within 2 days to confirm you’re still on board. If I don’t hear back, I’ll assume life got busy and open the spot to someone else.
Testing Info:
Skill level: Intermediate
Specific Skills: There is a small amount of sewing in this pattern, and you will also be asked to crochet along the sides & edges of rows. Some previous experience with this will be super helpful, but it is not required.
Yarn, hook, & colors: i would like as many tests as I can get in the original materials (DK weight yarn & 2.5 hook), but I am not opposed to other yarn & hook types. As this is based on a character, I would like the coloring to remain similar, but it doesn’t have to be exact!
Approximate Sizing: Length - 6”, Width - 3“ (if the recommended hook and yarn sizes are used).
Largest Stitch Counts: (Rounds - 36) & (Rows - 52)
Pattern Materials:
DK weight yarn (weight 3) - 6/7 colors
2.5 mm hook
6mm safety eyes
Stuffing, stitch markers, scissors
*1/2” brass fasteners (brads)
If you’ve read all the info, go ahead and comment your yarn, hook size, IG handle (only if you have one), and a mouse emoji
so I know you’ve read through the requirements! You will not be considered if you don’t follow these steps.
I’ll be choosing testers this Thursday (2026-02-19T07:00:00Z), and I’m so grateful for your interest and excitement! ![]()
If you don’t have any makes on Ribblr yet, no worries at all—just send me a quick message, drop a few photos in the comments, or share your social media where I can peek at your lovely work.
Don’t forget to click pattern photo to apply:
I’m so excited to prepare Sylas to join in on the adventure!
