Skills needed:
color changing (newt only)
minimal sewing (heads onto the body only)
embroidering details (mostly for the salamander)
working with a foundation chain instead of a magic ring
crocheting pieces together
crocheting onto previously made peice
uses both conitunous and joined rounds
Requirements:
make ONE of the four animals, tell me in a comment which of the ones you would prefer to make
journal
feedback, the good and bad in the groupchat
communicate in the groupchat
good quality photo(s) of finished project
provide yarn weight and hook size in journal
no yarn requirements (with a slight preference for natural colors)
Pattern will be gifted upon completion of the journal! If you’ve read everything, make sure to have an amphibian emoji in your comment!

I would use medium ish light ish weight yarn with a 3.5 mm hook

I’d use size 4 acrylic yarn and a 4mm hook (or alternatively, a (I think) size 3 or 4 cotton yarn and a 3 or 3.5mm hook for this lovely lad!

Scarlet these are so so cute!! I would love to test any but Slippy and Hopscotch are my favorite! I love how uniquly they’re designed and I have NEVER seen a salamander crochet pattern! We have so many red salamanders at my house so I would like to try to recreate one! I would use Premier Just Chenille with a 4mm hook
