[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet: Annika Skirt

I need testers for my Annika Skirt - Crochet ePattern

Please read the entire post before applying.

this pattern uses fsc (can use chain/sc method instead), fslst (chain/slst option avail), sl st, sc, hdc, dc, dc5tog (explained in pattern). It is made to measure (all sizes welcome!) and can be made as a mini, midi, or maxi skirt

Due Date: 2026-01-11T05:00:00Z
Additional Requirements:

  • no yarn requirements but I recommend weight 4 or lower due to weight of finished skirt. I used Caron Simply Soft (4), about 15oz. This was about a 5T-child small knee length skirt.
  • You’ll use a hook that is recommended by the yarn you choose or close to it. I used a 5mm with weight 4 yarn
  • Must communicate issues and suggestions in the group chat (not the journal)
  • Must post a photo of your skirt to your journal. Preferably worn but not required
  • If you are interested, please comment the length you’d make (mini, midi, maxi), what color(s) you may use (would love to see striped), and :christmas_tree: emoji to show you read everything

Adorable model and beautiful skirt! I’d love to join in testing - probably a similar length to the one pictured for my (almost) 2yo niece, and another, maybe closer to maxi length for her 16yo sis :evergreen_tree:

Figuring I should be able to at least get the little sister’s done before the due date, and a good start on big sis’s

:purple_heart::blue_heart::green_heart: Purple, blue, and green stripes

I thought about making one for my almost 2yo but she just takes her clothes off if it’s not like a bodysuit  I don’t know how many times today I said “where are your clothes?!”

I am trying to gauge time to see if I could test. I would be making an adult small or adult medium mini or midi ( I would have to ask my girls what size they would want if I made it). About how long did it take you to make your 5T?

 I believe it!!

I would love to test this pattern I would use I love this yarn from hobby lobby and make a mini or maxi (whichever one you need most) and I’m a size XL and I hope everyone who wants to test gets picked!! :dress:

It took me a week to design so it would take less time if I made another. I also had to stop a lot bc my kids were especially feral last week (probably all that turkey from Thanksgiving :face_with_hand_over_mouth:)

@Kelsocrafts @ChrochetByLIV make sure you click on the photo and hit ok to apply

@Craftwork @Sarahp4993 please read the entire post in order to be considered

Would love to make a black version or even a self stripping scarf yarn version! I think a mini or midi would be my preference here
