Aslan the Lion - Crochet ePattern

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a few testers for my new pattern Asian the Lion, a medium‑sized amigurumi lion with a bright mane and a cozy round body.

:yarn: To apply, please comment:

  • What yarn type you’ll use (plush or worsted)
  • What colors you plan to use
  • Your favorite book
  • And don’t forget to include the :lion: emoji!

This pattern is written in US terms, and I’d love testers who can give clear feedback on readability and stitch counts. Stuffing is done gradually, and the legs are joined directly to the body but this is a pattern that includes sewing.

He’s CUTE! I’ll use plush yarn, beige-ish yellow body & medium brown for accent/mane. (Might do a second with other colors if I have time) Favorite book is tough - I have so many! But one of my first favorites would be Light A Single Candle. :lion:

I Will use acrylic yarn size 6! Same colors as the lion. My favourite book is 1984 but my sisters is the lion King! :lion:

So adorable :lion: I could test with white and pink plush yarn! (Or yellow and brown if I run out but I probably won’t) My fave book is cucumber quest if graphic novels count, written novels there are just way too many to choose from!

Also do you have any pictures from other perspectives? Like side or back

Yarn type wool acrylic blend in tan (slight fluff slight sparkle) with a 5.5 mm hook with plush chenille for the mane.

I haven’t read a book above preschool level in years so lets go with one of those, gonna be a toss up between Tikki Tikki Tembo or King Midas has Ass’s Ears or Why the Bear is Stumpy-tailed.

Omg is it Aslan from the Narnia!? (I’m just reading the Chronicles of Narnia) I’d love to test with mercerized cotton yarn and a 2,5mm hook. I will probably use similar colours to yours or maybe instead of yellow I’ll use beige.:lion: My favourite books are Harry Potter, Časodejovia, Hobbit, Red Queen, and more…
