[closed] Tester call for Crochet: Axolotl Butterfly

Read the entire post before applying and do all requirements, or you will not be chosen.

Hi everyone! I need testers for my Axolotl Butterfly (name tbd)! This is my next kids creation design, drawn up and colored by a brother/sister duo. While they are no longer in my husbands class, thankfully we’re able to reach them still so they will get the final product (yay!!)

:butterfly: This is a confident beginner/intermediate pattern. Mostly because of the wings and the embroidery/surface crochet required in order to get there. I don’t walk you through it, I just provide pictures showing how mine look so you can reference it. You can also try to mimic real butterfly wings as well.

:butterfly: Due date is March 21st. Do not apply if you can’t meet the time please. I’ll be picking 6-8 testers in a day or two, depending on how many apply.

:butterfly: No ghosting or aborting with no reason! If you need to quit, just tell me. I’ll be checking in occasionally. Ghosts will be removed and likely will be blocked from future tests.

:butterfly: There are no yarn requirements. Feel free to use whatever yarn and whatever colors you prefer. As long as you stick with the pattern.

:butterfly: If you’re new to ribblr or don’t have any makes, feel free to show photos of your favorite makes below to show off your skills

:butterfly: If you’ve read all this, put your yarn type and hook size in the comments a long with a butterfly emoji

I’d love to test with pink chenille yarn for the axolotl, magenta for the frills and accent color for wings and light yellow for the wings. All with a 7 mm hook. :butterfly:

Chenille maybe dolphin baby or leami fine, so hook 5 or 4 :butterfly:

I’m new here so I post some pictures of things I made before.

I would use a bulky Chenille yarn with a 5.0 mm hook.

I have a few journals up.

And here’s part of one of the blankets I’mworking on. (Sirdar CAL)

Hi there! This is one of my most recent little projects, and my first amigurumi. I made the black Labrador for some friends whose dog unfortunately passed too soon. I’ve also made a lot of crocheted flowers, and I’m currently working on a skirt and a blanket.

I taught myself to read crochet patterns a couple of years ago, so I am still learning, but I’d absolutely love to test your pattern. The axolotl butterfly is just adorable!

I’ll be using 8ply acrylic yarn and a 3.5 or 4mm hook. :butterfly:
