[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet: Bones the Cuddle Wendigo

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE APPLYING! Thank you

I will pick 6-8 testers per version (ribblr and pdf) If you rather test the pdf, please check out my Instagram for additional requirements.

If you want to be tagged in the release, I suggest following my account so you will be notified anytime I post. I am awful at remembering to tag anyone other than my testers

  • Due 2026-09-20T05:00:00Z (16 days to test)

Requirements:

  • journal with photo (prefer good lighting)
  • be okay in a group chat
    • all communication and feedback should be sent in the group chat, not the journal
  • be okay with your photos being used in tester appreciations and promotional material (credited, of course)
  • no yarn requirements, use whatever you want!
  • comment what colors you would use (three colors are used)

I pick testers based on your makes, so please make sure you have some makes for me to see via journals! Also, if you do not comment, I am unlikely to consider your application!

Any questions? Ask away!

If you want to be tagged in the release, I suggest following my account so you will be notified anytime I post. I am awful at remembering to tag anyone other than my testers

Thank you so much to everyone who will apply :heart_hands: if you have read everything, make sure to include a skull emoji (or something spooky-related) in your comment!

THAT LOOKS AWESOME AAAH checks due date Um maybe…

sigh I’ll try to test with medium 4 acrylic yarn or super bulky 6 yarn with a 3.0mm or a 6.0mm

The requirements answers (so that yk what I’m up for)

  • journal with photo (prefer good lighting)

~Check, I take photos in front of the tree in my front yard, although depending on what time I finish I might take it out a window or something

  • be okay in a group chat

    • all communication and feedback should be sent in the group chat, not the journal

~I’m good in a group chat, and I won’t put any feedback into the journal besides the overall completion thing :two_hearts:

  • be okay with your photos being used in tester appreciations and promotional material (credited, of course)

    ~I’m perfectly fine with that!

  • comment what colors you would use (three colors are used)

  • ~I’ll use the same colours as you for this!

Thank you for considering me! I also wanted you to know that I’m leaving for vacay tomorrow so I might be a little slow to complete this :two_hearts:

I would love to test please. I am torn on colors…I have some brown fur and could pair it with other browns OR I have purple fur and could pair it with other purples…hmmm

I have over 60 makes/tests in my library. Here are a couple not there:

Would love to test for you again! I love the cryptids/myth/lore creatures so much! I might use deep brown for the base and cream for fur and bones. (I have many shades of fur so whatever matches best) i can test either version too. Note sure what size hook though. Maybe tiny maybe 4mm

I’d love to make this guy, we have a joke in my family calling them winnebagos since according to legend you can provoke them by saying their name lol :skull:

I love him! I’m an avid fan of cryptids. I would like to use a chenille yarn in bright colors. Not sure exactly, as i would have to see what my local store has. Think neon green, pink, and white or black. With a 4mm or 3.5mm hook.

I’m definitely ok with all your requirements and I could finish in time.
