I need testers for my Bowling for Sheep - Crochet ePattern
Due Date: May 22, 2024
Click pattern photo to apply:
Bowling for Sheep
Additional Requirements: I am looking for 4-6 testers who can finish on time and won’t ghost me. Please only apply if you’ll be able to finish by May 22nd. If you need more time or something comes up just let me know and we can figure something out together.

You will need:

  • 4mm hook
  • Thread or small bit of yarn for the eyes
  • Yarn color A (wool), weight 4
  • Yarn color B (skin), weight 4
  • A small amount of yarn for the eyes
  • Stuffing
  • Yarn needle for sewing
  • Scissors

You can substitute the yarn and hooks for any you like, just let me know what you use. Please send feedback on anything that needs fixing/clarification like missed stitch counts, numbers off, the way things sound, etc. I hope you enjoy making this sheep! (And before anyone asks, it will be a free pattern!)

Testers have been chosen and contacted! Thank you all for applying to test!

Applied! I would probably use a 4mm hook as the pattern recommends. I will probably also use acrylic yarn it’ll probably be weight 4 but at the same time I’m not entirely sure. Is it okay if I use safety eyes instead of yarn for the eyes? If not that’s completely fine I understand if you like to stick to the pattern.

Its totally fine to use safety eyes! I just figured since it’s not thick that it would be a little harder but it would be cool to see it!

I would love to apply, but I have a few questions. Is it ok if i make the wool gray and use weight 7 yarn? It’s totally cool if that’s not okay, but I have extra yarn that I think would be perfect if you are ok with it!
