[closed] Tester call for Crochet: Celestial Deer (Peryton)

Read the entire post before applying and do all requirements, or you will not be chosen.

Hi everyone! I need testers for my Celestial Deer/Peryton!

:shooting_star: This is a confident intermediate/beginner advanced pattern. Everything is sewn together and there are linked stitches in the neck that you need to be able to do. I provide a link to my YouTube tutorial on how to do these. The wings are optional! There is floral wire in the legs to help it stand.

:deer: Due date is April 7th. Do not apply if you can’t meet the time please. I’ll be picking 6-8 testers in a day or two, depending on how many apply. I’m picking between ribblr and a IG/discord crochet group so not all 6-8 will be from ribblr.

:shooting_star: No ghosting or aborting with no reason! If you need to quit, just tell me. I’ll be checking in occasionally. Ghosts will be removed and likely will be blocked from future tests.

:deer: There are no yarn requirements. Feel free to use whatever yarn and whatever colors you prefer, as long as you stick with the pattern. For reference, I used 2.25mm hook, hobbii universe xl for the body, lion brand pound of love for the black, and lion brand glow yarn for the stars and wings. It came out to 9 inches tall excluding antlers and this was a dk weight yarn so keep that in mind.

:stars: If you’re new to ribblr or don’t have any makes, feel free to show photos of your favorite makes below to show off your skills

:deer: If you’ve read all this, put your yarn type and hook size in the comments a long with a star emoji. Also let me know if you plan to add the wings.

Wow, it’s beautiful.

I could test with 8/4 cotton from mymyflower and 8/10 glowyarn which I would simply divide by the number of threads so that it fits the 8/10:deer::glowing_star:

So adorable!!! I would use a 3.5 mm hook and worst weight yarn in a sparkly purple color. :star: would like to add the wings.

Oy shouldn’t do these things while I’m still half asleep…

Forgot to add that there’s floral wire in the legs too! And obvs the antlers are pipe cleaners but you can do whatever for those, or not do them at all if you prefer.

Oh he is so cool! I have some glow yarn I’ve been wanting to use as well, so I’d probably do worsted weight yarn with maybe a 4.5mm or 5mm hook. (would love to try bulky yarn in the future though!) And I absolutely would add the wings!!:star::dizzy::sparkles:

:deer: I’d live to do this test for you!

I’d be using a lightweight Acrylic with a 3.5mm hook and I’d love to do the wings!
