Well this is adorably cute and would make a perfect friend for the snowman I just finished! I would love to test this for you. I have plenty of regular chenille, and skinny chenille to choose from, and possibly may even have the right colors in velvet.

I’m happy to post a journal with a photo upon completion.

What is the exact due date for this test. He is one of 4 tests that I am working on and I want to be sure I have enough time to complete him.

Will there be a separate group chat for Santa. Or do we just use this one?

I’d LOVE to test this! I’d use a chunky yarn, and I would love to test it in pastels! I think that would be so pretty! I’d also love to do a mashup of this with either your monkey or your eggy dog! :joy::heart_eyes::see_no_evil_monkey:

I would love to test for you again. I tested the piggies last year. I would be happy to help with a Mashup. Looking at the picture and the patterns I have,

I think Dottie, pebbles, or rollo would look best given thier naturally large size. Just let me know if you would like a Santa hippo, rhino, or elephant. Fingers crossed. Hope to work with you again.

Would love to test with plush yarn! Would be cute to do a mix with the monkey pattern too! But I don’t have any of your other patterns at the moment…

The hippo or elephant would be really cute too as a mashup!

I’m interested in testing! About how long would you say it takes to finish this project? And, how big is it? It’s hard to tell in the picture. It’s really cute! Good luck with testing!

I have included some tips and videos for loop stitch. Some people hate it but I love loop stitch. It is one of my favourites!

I will be setting up the chat shortly - I tend to accept people quickly if they have tested for me before, so that they can get started if they want to but then leave the tester call for a day or so before starting the chat. It will be 2 weeks from when I start the chat, but just let me know if you need a bit longer

I will happily send the other pattern to anyone who would like to try a mashup. I love seeing all the photos of different mashups and would also like feedback on how easy they are to mix and match.

It is mostly made in one piece so works up quite quickly. The body is 49 rows from bottom of the feet to top of the head. The maximum number of stitches in any row is 50, so it is not huge. The loop stitch can take a while for the hair and beard if you have not done loop stitch before. However, I am happy for people to take longer if they let me know

That doesn’t seem too bad! I’d love to test! I don’t typically like to think of Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but this is too cute not to make! I’ll use worsted weight yarn!
