I would use blanket yarn with a 5mm hook. And I would use a white sparkle for the little oyster, and whipped cream for the inside of the shell and the color rosemary (a muted teal) for the outer shell. 
Awwwww! It is soooo cuteeeee! I would love to test for you with Berne blanket yarn and a 5.5mm hook! I hve lots of colors and I was thinking maybe white and then a multicolor yarn! :D

This is the cutest thing I’ve seen all day! I would be delighted to test the pattern for you. I would be using a dark blue sparkle skinny chenille for the shell/exterior and a size 4 cream for the interior. I would make it with a 4mm hook.

I plan to use an off-white color for the outside, safety eyes & a nine mm hook!
