Omg this looks amazing!
Are there any yarn requirements? Also what do you mean by pinned moth, is it used as a pin? Also welcome to ribblr!
Oooh I’d love to test this - such an original idea!!! I usually use dk weight cotton with a 3-3.5 mm hook.
Thank you!
Any worsted/medium weight will do.
I would create a small swatch and see if they’re easy to fluff up with a comb.
Wool and acrylic seem to fluff up just fine.
I think “pinned moths” and “pinned butterflies” are what you call those framed and pinned insects collectors have. It was tough to describe in the intro. The finished moth comes out pretty flat so you can pin it to some cardboard and frame it.
Also thank you!
That’s so cool?? I’d love to test for you with acrylic <3
Okay great! I’d love to test this using worsted weight yarn!
I’d love to test! I went to grad school for entomology and have pinned many real butterflies and moths:)
I would love to test this absolute beauty i would us dk yarn and a 3mm hook
will it be free? can i be tagged when it releases?
That is so cute! Will it be free after release!?

It’s beautiful! I’d love to test with acrylic yarn & 3.5mm hook.

Aaaaa! It looks amazing! I’d loove to test it! Probably with plush yarn and 4 mm hook, but if the pattern is going to look better with 4ply I might try it in that as well!
This is amazing !! Would love to test for you ! I have an EXTREME fear of moths so I think my family would find it funny x
