Hello Everyone! I need testers for my new crochet pattern: Edward the Pumpkin Bat! Please read everything before applying!!

I will be picking about 10 testers on Saturday, September 5th. I would like to release this pattern as soon as possible, so I will unfortunately not be giving extensions to the due date.

This is an intermediate level pattern that is made of 12 parts (7 must be sewn on). The largest stitch count is 48.

Once released, this will hopefully be a paid pattern. ($4-$5 USD)

Due Date: September 26, 2026 (21 full days)

Requirements: Post a journal with a photo and communicate in the group chat (this is where all feedback should be sent to me, not through the journal).

Materials I used:

  • Bernat Blanket: lead (approximately 196g or 6.8oz)

  • Bernat Blanket: coal

  • Loops & Threads Demi Purl: Jadesheen

  • Loops & Threads Demi Purl: Cinnamon stick (approximately 20g or 2.8 oz)

  • Just Chenille: Cocoa

  • 6.5 mm crochet hook

  • Stuffing

  • 18 mm safety eyes

  • Polly Pellets (optional but recommended)

  • Scissors

  • Tapestry needle

  • Black and white embroidery thread

  • Black felt (optional but recommended)

  • 15 mm safety nose (optional)

I would love to test with acrylic yarn and 2,5mm or 3mm hook :jack_o_lantern:

Id use acrylic yarn with a 3.5mm/4mm hook or id double strand and use a 4.5mm/5mm hook!!! :jack_o_lantern::bat:

OMG!!! That has to be the CUTEST Halloween Plushie EVER!!! Unfortunately I cant test but glwt! And the fact that the pumpkin is REMOVABLE is like perfect!!! This just made my day!
