[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet: Eggy Witch - Halloween Special

I need testers for my Eggy Witch - Halloween Special - Crochet ePattern

Due Date: 2 weeks from start of test (I will pick testers in the next couple of days)

Skill Level: I have assigned an advanced beginner skill level to this pattern. While the majority of it involves simple stitches, there is some assembly required in sewing components together and a little embroidery for the mouth and eyelashes. Additionally, there are a few colour changes and there are some trickier techniques which involve crocheting into the front or back loop only and the accessories are a little fiddly. However, these are all fully explained within the pattern. You must be familiar with reading patterns and understanding the abbreviations and terminology.

Additional Requirements:

  • You can use any yarn and the appropriate hook size, and experiment with different colours. However, I think that the detail would make it a tricky one to make using a plush yarn.

  • The instructions include options for either safety eyes or crocheted eyes, so do not worry if you do not have any safety eyes

  • A journal entry of the finished item would be amazing, but not required - however, I would love to see a photo of your finished Eggy.

  • As part of the test, you will need to make the witch with witch’s hat and the broomstick.

I plan to include the Mini Eggy Kitten pattern for free with this pattern, so anyone who completes the test will also receive the kitten pattern! Therefore, you do not need to make the kitten as part of the test. However, I would love to see a mini witch’s hat (for the kitten) from a couple of testers, which is included with the witch pattern.

Thanks for looking :grinning:

Thank you. I also have a mini ghost nearly ready, which is even quicker than the kitten - and I worked out how to attach a keychain

OMG. They hacve a cat. I would like to test.
I would use acrylic yarn and a 3,5mm hook. This time I haven’t signed up for many testings so I’ll do it quickly.
