Tester Call: Flippy the Froggie!
I need testers for my Flippy the Froggie - Crochet ePattern
Sit Up Exercise GIF by Martin

Hey everyone! This is my first published crochet design, and I’d love to see how other crocheters approach it. I’m still figuring out the whole testing process, so any feedback or constructive criticism to help me improve would mean the world to me!

Unfortunately, I’m unable to pay testers, but I’ll be sure to showcase your beautiful creations in the final design and tag your Instagram accounts to give you credit.

If you’re interested in helping out, thank you so much in advance—I truly appreciate it! Feel free to DM me or comment below if you’d like to join. :two_hearts:
Testers will be chosen on December 12.

Hi I can’t test rn, but when a tester complete you don’t pay but you gift the pattern. Thats like the price of testing it. Idk if this makes sence.

this is so cute ! I’d love to test you might want to add when you’ll pick who’s testing and the payment for testing is just being allowed to test and being gifted the pattern when you have completed testing hope this helps! :)

When is it due?

Congrats on your first published crochet design! Quick tip, most people don’t pay their testers! It’s adorable though!

Hey, thanks for explaining! I really appreciate the feedback. Since I was already planning to make the design free, it seems like a tester call might not make as much sense—or does it?

Thank you so much! I’m so happy you’d like to test! I’m thinking of picking testers soon and having the due date a few weeks after to allow for tweaks like color changes—around 3–4 weeks in general. How do others usually handle this? I feel a bit amateur!

you could post a link for your tester call on the craft chat so more people could see it.

no it is fine, this is just to make sure your pattern is okay, there is no need to pay testers, that’s how everyone does it, free or not :)

I would love to try!

i think its good when its tested even if its a free pattern so people can like help you with mistakes if there are some. And they also give feedback.

Oh, that wasn’t on purpose! I’m still learning how to use Ribblr and honestly, I’m pretty bad at it so far. Do you think switching my profile or project to private would fix it? Would that work?
