[ CLOSED ] Tester call for Crochet: Gerbera Daisy

I need testers for my Gerbera Daisy - Crochet ePattern
Closes: Feb 15th (Sunday)
Due Date: March 1st

Skill level: intermediate

Additional Requirements:

  • this pattern uses two basic Tunisian stitches, simple and double, I don’t want to have to remove testers due to not knowing the stitches…
  • special Tunisian hooks not necessarily required, all you need to have is space for 11 loops on your hook
  • Works up relatively fast
  • I suggest smaller hooks and cotton/acrylic yarns, free to choose colours.
  • Size depends on your finish, with a 1,75 mm hook the bloom comes at a diameter of 8 cm (3 in), height customizable
  • Wire that you can crochet around (for the leaf), a stick for the stem, hot glue gun (or other adhesives) to secure pieces together.
  • Optionally you can make it into a brooch/applique if you don’t have any wire and sticks
  • looking for 4-6 testers… Got 4 already
  • no ghosting, I expect you to be active in the testing gc
  • Hooray you’ve come so far as to get a cookie! Post one in the comments, along with your hook and yarn!
  • I give extensions, but lmk in advance not last minute.
  • this will be a free pattern i don’t have stripe so y’all are safe
  • theoretically a no-sew
  • I’ll close it when I get enough testers

I know I won’t make the due date, so I won’t apply, but I’d love a tag in the release if possible.

Very nice!:blossom: Alas I don’t know Tunisian well enough to do justice to a test using it but I’ll definitely look out for the release. :slightly_smiling_face:

I would love to test but i have sooo many projects to work on in February i can’t afford testing big stuff anymore  (not asking for a tag in the release bc I’m following you and will receive a notification when you release it anyway)

I’m torn between making this with size 4 yarn and a 4.5mm hook or embroidery floss and a 2mm.. probably the floss direction :cookie:

I’d personally suggest the smaller one, I’m working with 1,75 and it comes out at about the size of one’s palm

I would love to test this flower as it’s my favorite flower. I would use 3.5 hook and worsted weight yarn. :cookie::fortune_cookie: here are the cookies requested.
