[Closed] Tester call for Crochet: Granny Square Tote

Hello everyone!

I am looking testers for my Granny Square Tote - Crochet ePattern

I’m looking for about 5 testers, but don’t mind opening it up to more people if there is more interest in testing it.

Application Due Date: May 3rd, 2025 (if enough applications)

Additional Requirements:

  • Don’t Ghost, If you ghost this tester call then you will be disqualified from testing my future patterns.
  • Finish the project by the set time (this is a quick project, only needs a couple of days including blocking but you will have two weeks to complete after pattern is provided)
  • Nice photos of the pattern.
  • Comment yarn brand/size/color you would use as well as what hook size. (You must do this as a part of your application)
  • Yarn used in photo example: Caron One Pound Yarn
  • You do not have to use 5 different colors to become a tester. Minimum of 2.

I am very open to first time testers and encourage you to apply.
Let me know if you are a first time tester in your comment so I can keep an eye out for you.

If you aren’t accepted as a pattern tester for this pattern don’t be discouraged. I will be having another pattern to test out in the near future.

Hello! I am interested and a first time tester. :) I havent fully set up my Ribblr account but have started uploading examples of my crochet on Ravelry (@cherrybomberi) if that’s helpful!

If I was chosen as a tester for this project I would probably use a size H with some Loops & Threads yarn I have stashed and maybe some thrift store yarn I found (I think it is Caron cakes but not 100% sure). But if there is a specific weight I should use I’d be happy to!

I’m new to this app, and would like to try testing. This seems like a super cute pattern. I would use weight 4 Big Twist yarn in light blue and pink, and a 4.5 mm crochet hook.

Funny enough i was looking to crochet and bag and try something new like testing patterns! I would love to test this if you choose me!
I will use a 4 or 5mm hook with Bernat handicrafter cotton in French blue and lily sugar and cream in camomile!! Glwt!

Acrylic hook 4. :scream: Colours i don’t now. I like black for the assembly and some light colors for the rest.

I’d love to test for you! I’d use big twist yarn and H-8 hook. I’m think 4 colors but might add a 5th! Wine, eggplant, mustard and light gray. (navy if I add the 5th). I’ve tested 3 patterns so far.

This pattern will unfortunately not be free but I will have a free pattern coming up soon. Thanks for the interest!

Okay updating that I completed my first test ever (Aisling crochet headband) so now I have experience

Thank you everyone for applying! Applications are now CLOSED and testers have been selected. If you were not chosen to be a tester for this pattern, I promise it was nothing personal. The amount of spots just filled up quickly. Please feel free to apply to my next pattern testing request.
