[~CLOSED~] Tester call for Crochet: Gunther the Grumpy Griffin

so cuteee!!! Glwttt

Super cute!!! I’d probably use acrylic yarn and a 3.25mm hook! I’m unsure about what colors I’d use, but probably similar ones!! :eagle:

I would LOVE to test!! He is so adorable :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I would love to use hobby lobby brand chenille yarn in similar colors as you with a 5 mm hook! I would love to make him!! :eagle:

As a fantasy lover, I would LOVE to test this!!! I can do acrylic with a 4.5 mm hook ASAP (if you want it done early), but if you give me a few days, I’m going yarn shopping; I can get the colors(I mostly need brown) to do chenille.
Also I love the story idea!

:eagle:

Aww so adorable! Good luck with testing! :heart_hands:

So cute!! Good luck with testing!

I would have to use drops safran as this is the only yarn which I have loads of colours in, and that would mean I would use a 2.5mm or 3mm hook

Whatever you’ve got is fine by me. I’m looking forward to seeing the different looks and sizes . I’m just thankful to have y’all test it for me. I’m making a smaller one now, with size 4 acrylic and a 3.5 hook. Please let me know if the eye placement is working for you with the different size yarn. Thank you !

he’s so adorable!! i’d love to give him a try in size 6 yarn with 6mm hook, i have all the same/similar colours in my stash already! i might use buttons for eyes or embroidery, not sure yet :eagle::face_with_monocle: tysm for the consideration and best of luck with testing!!

I’m looking forward to seeing it …I also use a lot of premier yarn, especially the stash goals in the bag. It’s the cheapest and it’s not too bad. I’ve gotten a couple that have shed a little but I love the quantity.

That variety is great :+1:t3: thank you ! ..I’ve made some bucket hats and bags with cotton and I like how it’s sturdy and doesn’t stretch as bad as acrylic.

That’s exactly what I plan to use stash goals :rofl::rofl:

He’s adorable!!!

You literally can’t beat it !!! Last time I bought some, it was 3 dollars for a bag. I live way back in the country and not close to a store, so I would buy that bernat yarn from Walmart when we went to town. Let me just say, I didn’t like paying 10-13 dollars for yarn. Oh, and most of the acrylic yarn is Red Heart and the texture gives me the heebie jeebies :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:… needless to say, premier is my go to, and hobby lobby (I love this yarn brand)
