[~CLOSED~] Tester call for Crochet: Gunther the Grumpy Griffin

I need testers for my Gunther the Grumpy Griffin - Crochet ePattern
Due Date: August 4th
Additional Requirements: Hey everyone! I am looking for a few testers for my “Gunther the Grumpy Griffin” pattern. I don’t have a big following on here, and while I have had people test my patterns in the past, this is my first one on Ribblr. If you are interested, please click the photo to sign up and reply with what yarn type and hook size you will be using. To show that you have read this, add an eagle emoji at the end :eagle: .

Colors, yarn, and hook sizes do not matter. I will choose testers by July 23. The more, the merrier.

As with all patterns, if chosen, please don’t ghost me and check in to the chat every once in a while to let me know you’re still out there lol. I’m not too strict on extensions because I hope I end up with some participants. Just give me a heads up if there is an issue! Again, thanks for your help, and God bless! I look forward to seeing your version of Gunther!

I am open to constructive criticism to help me perfect this little guy. If/when you have a suggestion, please explain how I can improve.

He’s a griffin so he’s half lion and half eagle. My goal is to create a storyline for my upcoming patterns to make it interesting and fun! You’ll notice in my pattern description that I have the first part of the story describing how Gunther came about. There are a few critters in the description who are unique in their own way, and I plan to add them to my collection later on.

Thanks

I would LOVE to test this pattern, my kid attends William and Mary College and this is their mascot! That being said I would like to make in their colora green and gold and white. I only have those colors in 4 weight yarn would use a 4 or 5 mm hook. I will also make one in 6 weight blanket yarn 8mm hook but need to order the right colors so might not get that size done by 8/4.:eagle:

Ok awesome ! Thank you, and that’s really cool about the mascot of your kid’s college! I look forward to seeing what it looks like in your colors and if you have any questions or suggestions just let me know. I’m gifting the pattern so if you decide to make another one, go for it. If you happen to need more time, just let me know. I’ve got to figure out how to approve this now :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:..

He looks really nice. I usually use cotton yarn and a 2.5mm hook :eagle:

I would love to help you test Gunther! I’m a huge fantasy creatures fan  I would use similar colors to yours in weight 5 yarn with a 4mm hook :eagle:

Uhhhhhh, SUPER cute!! If I weren’t in the middle of moving into my new house, I would DEFINITELY apply. Good luck with testing!!

Would love to test with chenille or plush blanket yarn! Hook size will vary depending on which yarn but from a 2.25mm to a 4mm. :eagle:

I’d love to help you test! I think I have all the right colours for it <3

I would love to test your amazing griffin in aran/Chenille using a 3.5 or 4.0mm hook:eagle:

So cute!!! Good luck!

Would love to test for you in size 5 yarn with 5mm hook. :eagle:
