I am looking for a few testers for my penguin crochet pattern. I’ve had this pattern in drafts for a long time. It is something very special to me and now that life is settling (for the moment) I would love to take this time and share this very special penguin with all of you!
This is a very quick, low sew pattern. Beginner-advanced (Beginner friendly with advanced techniques such as color changes, bobble and BLO / FLO stitches.
I have tested the pattern in super bulky (6) with a 6mm hook. You may use whatever yarn and hook you’d like. I love seeing a variety, so please do have fun and be creative!
Testers will be chosen and contacted by December 4th.
DUE DATE: December 12th
I ask that testers please be able to:
Communicate during testing.
Provide clear feedback.
Share atleast one finished photo to your Journal.
Thank you in advance to everyone for your interest and support!
It’s so cute I’d love to test in maybe a blue and white, yellow for beak! I’ll use a worsted weight chenille yarns and be embroidering the eye details I’ll be using a 3.50mm hook
That is a very good question! I would say it is beginner-advanced. Very beginner friendly with advanced techniques such as colors changes, bobble and BLO/FLO stitches.
I would use skinny chenille yarn with a 3.25mm hook. I can do any colour you require
I’ve attached a recent picture of my work for reference that includes blo & flo work along with the bobble stitch. My instagram is Piercedprincesscrochet if you want to see more of my work
