[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet: Loftie the Chunky Giraffe

I need testers for my Loftie the Chunky Giraffe - Crochet ePattern

Due Date: 2 weeks from start of test (I will pick testers in the next couple of days)

Skill Level: Beginner - mostly simple stitches with a little sewing and a couple of colour changes required.

About the Pattern:

  • No-sew body base starts at the bottom of the feet and works up to the top of the head as a single piece, crocheting in the arms
  • Sewing required for nose, ears, spots and horns
  • Approx. 25cm tall with DK yarn and 2.5mm hook, 40cm tall with chunky yarn and 4mm hook (not including ears)
  • Mix and match with my other Chunky and Pig patterns. For example, make yourself a giraffe groom by using this pattern to modify Otis the Chunky Bridegroom

If you’ve tested any of my recent chunky or pig patterns, the base of this pattern is identical. I also have many more patterns coming soon, all designed to be mixed and matched thanks to the shared base.

Additional Requirements:

  • You can use any yarn and the appropriate hook size, and experiment with different colours. This is a great pattern to make using plush yarn!

  • The instructions include options for either safety eyes or crocheted eyes, so do not worry if you do not have any safety eyes

  • You must be willing to provide feedback on any parts of the pattern that are unclear or if you spot any errors / typos

  • I would also like feedback on the level of difficulty.

  • A journal entry of the finished item would be amazing, but not required - however, I would love to see a photo of your finished amigurumi.

Thanks for looking :grinning:

Oh I love him so much! I’d love to test but I don’t want to take on too many tests and not give each my best without rushing thru them. I know you’ll get tons of great testers for this adorable giraffe! Good luck with testing!
