CLOSED-Tester call for Crochet: Low-Sew Sunfish Keychain Crochet Pattern

Another crochet pattern test already!?

I need up to 10 testers for my FREE Low-Sew Sunfish Keychain Crochet Pattern! This tester call closes next Saturday, 14th March. After that, those who have been chosen will be notified via their DMs or private messages.

The due date is 3rd April (15:00 BST). Please make sure that you finish the item in time, and remember to send me notes before the pattern publicly uploads. If you feel that you can’t make it until then, please don’t apply.

Also, you need to make sure that the right side (i.e. ‘V’ stitches) of amigurumi are showing; otherwise, there will be problems making the item. The way I made the item was ‘yarn-under, yarn-over’. I recommend you follow that step; otherwise, the item could get distorted from the loose stitches. Finally, please no ghosting!

Difficulty: Beginner. There are only a few pieces to sew on

Materials I used: DK yarn, 2.50mm sized hook, keychain ring

I’d love to test, but I have a few questions beforehand,

  1. Eyes - safety eyes or embroidery?
  2. Keychain obligatory?
  3. Extension policy? in case of completely unexpected complications

I’d use a 2mm hook and colors similar to your example, all cotton, loose stitches shouldn’t be problematic for me

Its super cute! I would like to test with acrylic yarn and a 2.5 mm hook.

I recommend you embroider the eyes, because not only do safety eyes cause a choking hazard, but their ends might touch each other. This could affect the softness and squish of the item.

And yes, a keychain loop is definitely mandatory, if you want to make this as a keychain.

Hi, I would love to test it, with fine cotton yarn and a low hook size 2.0 or 2.5. :hugs:
