[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet: Pebbles the Chunky Elephant

I need testers for my Pebbles the Chunky Elephant - Crochet ePattern

Due Date: 2 weeks from start of test (I will pick testers in the next couple of days)

Skill Level: Beginner - mostly simple stitches with a little sewing and a couple of colour changes required.

About the Pattern:

• No-sew body base starts at the bottom of the feet and works up to the top of the head as a single piece, crocheting in the arms

• Sewing required to attach trunk, ears and tail

• Curly hair is created using loop stitch - alternative method also included in pattern

• Approx. 25cm tall with DK yarn and 2.5mm hook

If you’ve tested any of my recent pig patterns or my chunky leprechaun, the base of this pattern is identical. I also have many more patterns coming soon, all designed to be mixed and matched thanks to the shared base.

Additional Requirements:

  • You can use any yarn and the appropriate hook size, and experiment with different colours. This is a great pattern to make using plush yarn!

  • The instructions include options for either safety eyes or crocheted eyes, so do not worry if you do not have any safety eyes

  • You must be willing to provide feedback on any parts of the pattern that are unclear or if you spot any errors / typos

  • I would also like feedback on the level of difficulty.

  • A journal entry of the finished item would be amazing, but not required - however, I would love to see a photo of your finished amigurumi.

Thanks for looking :grinning:

Thank you - I use the cotton yarn for the instruction photos, as these are easier to see the stitches. I will also edit one of the main photos to include yarn type, hook size and eye size.

Happy to test for you! He is such a cute fellow. Or lady… I think a blue elephant would be charming. But I also have grey and pink. Pink elephant and call her Tipsy. LOL… Anyway I usually use my favorite hook which is a G. 4.5 mm. My journal is up and going and I do not ghost, cause my name is not Casper. What if the elephant was white and I called him Boo,. Sorry my AdHD is acting up tonight.
