Read the entire post before applying and do all requirements, or you will not be chosen.
Hi everyone! I need testers for Peryton the Deer Bird. This design is part of my kids creation line and done by the same 10 year old who did taco cat, cloud dragon, Fairycat, and a few of the kaiju designs too. This girl is seriously talented so I made sure this one was as perfect as I could.
Special shout out to @LexaLovelyCrafts who helped out as editor in this one! I didn’t get pictures during a lot of the process and work has me so busy I can’t sit to make my second one so she took a bunch of the pictures in the pattern ![]()
Thanks bestie! That said, I am making a second one so I’ll be doing that alongside the testers (this one will be white and pink!)
This is an intermediate pattern. It involves a lot of sewing, some color changing, short rows, and you have to get creative with the antlers. Optional to use wire in the wings as well. Don’t apply if you don’t think you can handle this!
For the antlers, I provide a few options including using pipe cleaners and cutting wire/gluing it together/wrapping yarn around it. I would be willing to accept one or two people who aren’t able to do this so be sure to mention in your response if you can. (You can also do super tiny rounds to make them and insert wire for shape but let’s be honest, that is probably the least favored option!)
Due date is January 10th. Do not apply if you can’t meet the time please. I’ll be picking 6-8 testers in a few days depending on how many apply.
No ghosting or aborting with no reason! If you need to quit, just tell me. I’ll be checking in occasionally. Ghosts will be removed and likely will be blocked from future tests.
There are no yarn requirements. Whatever kind or color does not bother me as long as you follow the pattern.
If you’re new to ribblr or don’t have any makes, feel free to show photos of your favorite makes below to show off your skills ![]()
If you’ve read all this, put what antlers you are hoping to do, your yarn type, and hook size in the comments a long with a bird emoji.
