What yarn/hook does the pattern call for?

This is done in Dk weight yarn with a 5mm hook. You need approximately one and a half 100g balls of yarn for the project.

That’s a bigger hook than I’m used to working with, but I do have enough DK if I do color changes and I’d be happy to give it a shot!

Great! I look forward to hearing how things go with it! I’m relatively new to writing up my patterns and I struggle with dyscalculia, so if you notice anything off with any numbers (I sometimes accidentally write numbers backwards- 37 instead of 73 etc) please let me know!

What yarn did you use? I am just curious.

I used cygnet pato everyday dk, it’s an acrylic dk weight yarn but any dk weight yarn should work just as well.
