Ride-a-saurus, no-sew

My husband wanted a dino buddy. Specifically, an Emotional Support Sauropod: Brachiosaurus. I decided to add a saddle because it’s cute.

The bridle uses a thinner weight yarn than the rest. Everything is no-sew except optional facial embroidery.

This dino is a pattern that includes instructions for both left-:wave: and right-:wave: crocheters! You can also choose to color change for spots or leave it a single color. Simply select your preference in the drop-down for “Sizes”.

Finished Size: a dino made in size 5 yarn is 4 inches tall.

:heavy_dollar_sign:This will be a paid pattern, but it will be free for the first 24 hours.

Requirements-

* Yarn :yarn: type and color Requirements: None! I have made this in size 4, 5 and 6 yarns and the pattern scales well. Note: the bridle is made with thinner yarn than the body.

--IMPORTANT! – * Comment below with what yarn and colors you will use AND if you will be making it single colored or spotted or you will not be chosen.

* Post a journal :open_book: with a good quality photo and permission to use the picture(s) on various socials and the PDF :camera_flash:.

* Skill level needed: Intermediate

* Post questions, suggestions and found typos in the group chat, not the journal.

I will select testers by Monday or sooner depending on response.

@Somkb I see you applied to test, but I forgot to ask what size and color yarn you will use and whether it will have spots. I’ve edited the tester call info, can you give me the additional information?

This is so cute! I would love to test with chenille yarn or worsted weight yarn! For worsted weight yarn I will probably use like a blueish green color non spotted and for chenille I have a multicolor yarn that is blue and purple and pink or I might use green I think it kinda counts as spotted and not spotted more stripes.

By “spotted”, I mean there are color changes in the pattern to add in a second color.

The one I am pointing to on the right uses the spotted pattern.

The two of the left were both made with the single color pattern (even though the left-most one used spotted yarn).

The first one is probably most similar to the thing that will happen so I guess it will be singular colored
