[CLOSED] Tester call for Crochet: Spiraling Mushroom

Thank you everyone for the kind words and interest in my pattern! I have chosen testers for this one but I will have more coming this year!

I need testers for my Spiraling Mushroom - Crochet ePattern

Please Read Everything

This pattern is an intermediate level pattern and requires color changes in a MR. Stitches: sl st, sc, hdc, dc. Skills: surface crochet and invisible finish. With weight 4 yarn, the mushroom is 29in tall by 26in wide.

Due Date: 2026-03-01T05:00:00Z

The crocheting goes pretty quickly but the weaving in ends takes some time

Additional Requirements:

  • 2 or 4 different colors for the cap, 2 or 4 different colors for the stem, and 1 color for the outlines. Any weight yarn 4 or lower. I used weight 4. (I used 9 different colors)
  • 4mm hook or a hook appropriate for your weight yarn.
  • Must be comfortable with sewing and weaving in loose ends. There are A LOT!
  • Must be active in the group chat and share all suggestions and issues there (NEVER IN JOURNAL)
  • Post a final photo to your journal

If you are interested, please comment with the following: which colors or the number of colors you will use for each part(2 or 4, 4 is preferred but not required), the weight yarn you will use, and a :mushroom:. If you don’t want to do the outlines, please add that to your comment. I will only accept 1 person to make one without the outlines which requires surface crochet.

I will choose testers by Thursday

Definitely need to test this to go with the heart. Would use 4 colors for cap and 2 for stem (haven’t total decided what colos yet). Love how the outline accents the colors so will be doing it :mushroom: :brown_mushroom: :pink_heart:

I now know what colors I will do if chosen: variety of greens and pinks (this would be for my daughter so was waiting for her to pick)

I would use 4 colors for the top, 2 for the bottom. Medium weight, 5mm hook. Will test without black outline if needed just lmk. :mushroom::mushroom::mushroom:

I think the due date is far enough for me to get over my spiral fatigue from the heart  I would like to test with 6 colors (4 for cap, 2 for stem)and probably my trusty 5mm hook (but considering something smaller) :mushroom::brown_mushroom:

Beautiful project.

I would love to test.

If chosen, I would use Lydia’s Crochet Cotton Size 10 with a 2 or 2.5 mm hook.

For colors - mushroom top: green, 2 shades of blue, and purple; bottom: white, cream, grey/silver, and beige.

:mushroom::brown_mushroom:

I am amendable to with or without surface crochet.

I don’t have many projects posted here, but am happy to provide some if wanted.
