Testers have been chosen. Thanks for all the interest and love.
I need testers for my Taco Dishcloth Scrubby Set - Crochet ePattern
Due Date: 2025-03-16T05:00:00Z→2025-03-30T13:00:00Z
Additional Requirements: Yarn colors to match a taco, and scrubby yarn. Cotton for dishcloths, but toy food could use any yarn. Yellow (or tan?) tortilla, red tomato, green lettuce, brown meat and brown ? scrubby yarn. Also not shown is a little white ? for onions. The scrubby yarn I used was Red Heart Scrubby in Almond Brown. I extended the time to 2 weeks in case you want to buy cotton and or scrubby yarn.
It’s hard on me to request testers to do things and then not have them follow through. So, my simple requests are to communicate and finish the test, on time. Journals have turned in to a review at the end of testing. That at least is needed. Progress pictures and yarn choices would be helpful for others looking to buy the pattern later.
This will be part of a kitchen set food bundle for sale. Another coming soon. Testers will have a choice to test the next one also. Sneak preview soon.

lmao that is so creative! I love it so much!
wait until you see the next one.
How creative! Don’t have time to test, glwt!
I’m going shopping tomorrow, and if I can find scrubby yarn at a decent price, I’ll certainly apply. I started crocheting in my adult years with scrubbies, and my family loves them.
Just to be clear, just the brown is in scrubby yarn? (That’s what it looks like in the pic)
Which parts are the dishcloths that should be done in cotton, and which are the food toys?
The meat scrubby is made with brown cotton and scrubby yarn worked together.
If you want the set used for dishes, they should be cotton.
If you want play food, any will work.
Ok. THAT makes more sense. Ty.
K. Till tmw then. :)
This is awesome! I’d be interested in testing this for you! Good luck with testing!
I have accepted some testers and sent a message. It said sent, but also page not found??? @LeafyDisposition please check messages and your pattern library and let me know.
My husband looked at me when I was searching online for the best price for brownish scrubby yarn, and sweetly said, “need more yarn already?” Sigh. He’s right, I shouldn’t be getting more yarn rn. Next time. :) good luck with testing!
FYI- I did find this Sand Squeaky Clean scrubby yarn at Michaels which is a lot like the red heart almond you used in case anyone else is stumped.

Ha. You could use any scrubby yarn. Or skip it. Try it with bulky yarn. Haha.
It does go along with the “I have enough yarn but not that kind”. I thought it could be tough.
Well, the scrubby yarn I have is dark purple or rainbow… Not good at all for food. I’ll get the bundle when it comes out.
You will love the next one.
I would love to test for you! My brother will love this!
Yep! I have it.
Thanks. You have been added to the message and should have it in your testing tab.
I love this idea! Awesome!
I need to test this! PLEASE!!!
I love your level of excitement. You are in! Check for the pattern in the testing tab, and respond to the message I added you to.
@trust_level_4 , can you close this? Thanks.
