[Closed] Tester call for Crochet:Traveling Alchemist Frog

I need testers for my Traveling Alchemist Frog - Crochet ePattern
Due Date: May 1st 2025

Hello everyone! I am looking for 6-8 testers who will commit to the following:

  • Create a journal with one final photo (preferably natural lighting
  • Provide feedback in a group chat regarding pattern mistakes, grammar, wording, etc.
  • Be active in chat and respond to the first message to let me know if you can still test

Additional Information:

  • Skill level: Intermediate
  • No yarn, color, or hook requirements
  • Sewing required
  • This pattern has more details than the bunny pattern!

Pattern Includes:

  • A toad/frog design with sewing of the eyes
  • Loose-fitting shorts
  • A front-tie shirt
  • A simple travelers backpack
  • A mushroom cap

Materials Used:

  • Medium-weight yarn
  • 3.5mm crochet hook
  • Velcro, snap fastener (you can use a different type of fastener)
  • 16mm eyes
  • Felt
  • Beads (optional)
  • Printable mini dollhouse books on potions, magical beasts, etc. (optional)
  • Other typical tools (scissors, polyfil, etc.)

I WOULD LOVE TO TEST. One thing though is I only have a 3.75 mm that would work for it if that’s okay? I have everything else including a button snap! :mushroom:

I would l really really really love to test this beautiful creation, i would use dk yarn with a 3mm hook probably in the same colours as you :mushroom:

Absolutely love this and the Toad​:heart_eyes::mushroom: I’ll use acrylic yarn (weight 4) with a 3 mm hook! Color wise, going to try to stay as close to the original as possible

No worries! I usually wait a full 48 hours before sending out another message with your username tagged, then wait for a week after the first message. If there’s no response, then I remove that person from testing!

I am absolutely head over heels for this fella! I would use beginner/easy peasy yarn if chosen :frog: :sparkling_heart:

I’d love to test! I would use a 3mm hook and milk cotton yarn, however I don’t have any felt if thats ok? I would use similar colours maybe slightly more pastel for the clothes and backpack! :mushroom:

Felt is just used for the hat! I’ve put in an alternative, so it is definitely okay!
