CLOSED Tester call for : Sleeping Baby Dragon

Edit: Thank you so much everyone for your interest in my sleeping baby dragon!! I’m blown away by the support for my first pattern!!! :orange_heart::orange_heart: There are so many of you lovely people willing to test, so this tester call is now closed, and I will go through everyone’s applications and notify testers soon!! (testers have been notified, thank you!)

Hello Ribblr world!!

 I need testers for my first pre-published pattern - Sleeping Baby Dragon!!! This will be a paid pattern once published. A good group size (~10) is preferred for lots of feedback since this is my first pattern, so your help is greatly appreciated :orange_heart: Testers will be notified in the next few days!

:information_source: A bit of info: This pattern was created as part of a group dedicated to combatting AI generated crochet plushie/amigurumi art by utilizing AI images to make a real-life pattern. Thus, this adorable sleeping baby dragon was born! AI reference photos:

:date: Due Date: The due date is flexible, but because I know people will want to know a specific date, I will say May 31, 2025! It looks complicated, but it shouldn’t be!

Requirements:
:yarn: Yarn: I used a #4 weight acrylic yarn for this pattern as the highest stitch count is 54 sts. I would prefer it to be tested with a similar yarn for the details to be seen better, and because I would like to create a plushier pattern version at a later date; however, there is no color requirement!

:bookmark_tabs: Journal: A journal with quality photo(s) is required upon completion in order to receive the pattern as a gift for testing it for me! Please also be active in the group chat!

:sewing_needle: Sewing: There are many pieces to sew on - ears, horns, arms/legs, wings - and the spikes are crocheted directly onto the body. So if you are comfortable with sewing and crocheting into the work, this should be a fun pattern to make!

:ghost: Additional requirement: Please no ghosting! If you are unable to complete the pattern in the ample amount of time provided, I kindly ask that you do not apply as I am looking for respectful testers for this pattern who will be dedicated to creating an adorable dragon and taking the time to fulfill the requirements! It may sound picky, but I want this pattern test to be successful so that many others may enjoy it!

:glowing_star: If you feel that you meet these requirements, please apply by clicking on the pattern photo below, comment your yarn and colors if you know what you’ll use, and include emotes 3-7, that I used in this post, in your reply post so that I know you’ve read this super long information post!! Thank you!

I’ve applied! I’ll admit, I want to try a skinny chenille with this cutie, but I don’t have a good secondary color for that. So I’ll use a blue dk or sock weight yarn with an ~3mm hook.:yawning_face::sleeping_face::dragon::dragon_face::dragon::dragon_face:

I would use yarn 4. I would likely use either mint green and white or rainbow and black :glowing_star::blue_book::yellow_heart::date:

I would love to test with weight 4 yarn in a baby blue skinny chenille and a 4.5 mm. And I think this is 3-7? :yarn::sewing_needle::bookmark_tabs::ghost::star:

I would love to test with a 4mm hook and fuzzy yarn (you can see the stitches with this yarn) in the colors white and beige ( im not very sure yet about this beige color for the spikes) :bookmark_tabs::yarn::sewing_needle::ghost:
