What is the recommended yarn?

Thank you) I used yarnart jeans for this, I think it works really well here. Yarn weight is “2 fine”, so other brands might work too if you stick to the same weight. I’m just concerned about how it would work with different yarns and hook sizes (I made it with 3mm for the body, but 4mm for the coat, so that it’s not stiff).

I would love to try this with plush yarn.

I’ve never worked with 2weight yarn before. The lightest I’ve worked with is 3weight but I’d love to give it a try!

I used to crochet with even thinner yarn before, but it isn’t sold where I am currently, so I’m transitioning to bigger yarn weights. I didn’t know it would be so much more comfortable. But I guess my yarn choices are still on the thinner side.

Oh my yes I’ve seen the teeny crochet projects with basically thread!! I commend people that work with the lightest weights… it hurts my hand and my eyes just thinking about trying lol

Grogu! I have tried making a Grogu without a pattern. This would be much better!

I would need to use 4/worsted and a 3.75 mm hook or maybe 3/dk with a 3.25 mm hook.

Wow, your Grogu is amazing! This is one of the best Baby Yoda patterns I’ve seen, I would love to test this for you!
