I have two new patterns to test, both no-sew dragons! These will be paid patterns and any proceeds will go to charity! I will post more info about this at the release stage
First up we have Fruit Salad, a little sunset dragon!
This is a no-sew, beginner friendly pattern made for pride month following the colour scheme of the sunset lesbian flag. It can also be adjusted to match any other 5-colour motif.
Theno’s colour pattern follows the non-binary pride flag. This pattern is also no-sew, but more suited for advance beginners/intermediate, though it can be simplified by skipping a couple steps, I would like testers to be at intermediate level to ensure comfortable making this. I’d love feedback on the skill level required to make this.
The deadline is June 1st for both of them (almost 3 weeks to test).
You can apply to test both as long as you have the time and can finish both by the deadline.
If you are testing Theno, I’d like you to be comfortable at intermediate level, Fruit Salad is fine for beginners.
You will be asked to post a journal after completing your dragon and share a photo of your finished make in the group chat.
Any feedback on the pattern, errors, typos, unclear instructions etc. should be posted in the group chat, not in your journal.
You can use any colours, however I may give priority to people testing in pride flag colours (any pride flag, does not have to be the ones I used) since these patterns are being released for pride month.
To apply, please let me know your skill level (beginner/intermediate/advanced), what yarn type and colours you will use, and remember to click on the links below.
If you don’t have any makes on Ribblr, please add a couple of photos of amigurumi you’ve made.
If you are chosen, please reply to the group chat message within a couple of days of being picked so I know you are still interested in testing.
Intermediate, I’d love to test for you. I’d use chenille a 4.5 or 5 hook and for colors I’d use the allies flag for inspiration. I’d choose fruit salad to test but would be happy to do both.
I would absolutely love to test both. I’m going to pride with friends this june and I would love to gift them these cuties in their colors. I would be making one in bi flag colors and the other I have to ask my friend (ally probably which would be very fun to make ). I’ll probably make myself an Omni one. I would be using a 4.5mm hook and chenille yarn.
I would like to make either one, I think I can only finish one in the deadline though so I’m going to apply for both but if you pick me can you only pick me for one
I would most likely use size 6 yarn because that’s what yarn I have the colors in
I also have several other makes (including dragons) on ribblr on my makes page
