CLOSED TY! Tester call for Crochet: Dreaming Dragon Shawl - Easy Crochet Pattern

CLOSED thanks so much for your interest :two_hearts:

Happy Onyx Storm release day!

…guess what I finished, just in time!

I need (3) testers for my Dreaming Dragon Shawl - Easy Crochet Pattern - Crochet ePattern

Due Date: 1/31/2025

Additional Requirements:

This is an easy pattern with no gauge measuring required, and you can use whatever size yarn & corresponding hook that you’d like!

This shawl is highly recommended to be blocked (either wet or steam depending upon your yarn’s fiber)

This shawl can be made as long or as short as you like - it’s all up to you!

Please post your tester notes, photos, and journal by 1/31/2025 (this pattern is repeat based, so it’s ok if you don’t finish the whole shawl, but it would be great to get your notes on blocking as well!)

Is it going to be free?

It’s going to be 2.75 (same price as the knit version of the pattern), but I have a shop discount running currently!

How long did it take you to make?

It took me about a week since I used dk weight yarn, but using a heavier weight you could have the repeats work up a lot faster and get a bigger shawl more quickly.

The knit one was even slower because knitting (I’m a crocheter as my first fiber language) and sock weight yarn

Ok I might be able to test. There is a chance I might need an extension

That’s totally ok! It’s very repeat heavy so as long as the stitch counts & instructions seem ok through those, you can take extra time to get your shawl to the right length.

Blocking is highly recommended! The little scales will need that extra stretch to make them sit nicely.
