Hey everyone,
I’m trying to make some sunflowers but this pattern is slightly confusing. I’m not sure what the square brackets mean, there is no mention of them in the notes of the pattern so I’m not sure. Is it to do it in the same stitch???

how many sts do the centre circles have? i would interpret them as doing the stitches into one single st but i’m not super sure if it works for the pattern
There are 30 stitches in the middle circle
okay yea then i think it works!
row 1 u have two sets of stitches done into one stitch each, row 2 another two sets, and then repeat row 2 x13 = another 26 sets of stitches which works out to a total of 30!

Yes @idiosyncrasu has it right. And the brackets mean all those stitches go in the same stitch.
