I donate when I can, I love doing it 
One of the organizations I donate to is Operation Christmas Child, every year we have this big event and pack shoeboxes that are shipped off to places around the world where there are impoverished kids and families and they bring joy to those kids who have probably never (or rarely) received a gift in their lives. Toys, clothing, things like that, and also essential items like soap are put in those shoe boxes. I’ve made hats and soap savers (little pouches that hold soap, and apparently can be used as washcloths themselves, although I put in one of your regular washcloths). It’s a great organization! (Money donations are also appreciated, for shipping and handling purposes)
