Hello! Can anyone tell me how to crochet a pattern from a picture? Specifically, I want to crochet a scarf with the LA Chargers lightning bolt at the end. It seems like it would be simple, but I’ve never designed a pattern before. Are there apps for this? Google was surprisingly unhelpful, but maybe I was searching for the wrong thing. Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!

Pixelate the picture and project it onto a graph. Then crochet it with a Graphan pattern.
I don’t know all the details of how to do the above, but I think I’m sending you in the right direction.

There is a site called stitchfiddle
If you have a look on there you can convert pictures into graphs for free

I haven’t used it for crochet but I used it all the time for cross stitch and it was amazing. I’d assume it’s very similar for crochet though

Yes, you can create charts using colors, crochet symbols, or a combination of the 2. Very convenient.
