Do you mean, how to start writing it up here on ribblr? Or just how to make a pattern in general?

To create a pattern you need to create a shop first
Open a shop using the link below,

Once you’ve opened a shop, open up your shop page and scroll down until you see a purple “new pattern” button, click on that button to make a pattern!

To create a pattern test: after you’re done writing the pattern, exit ribuild (so you’ve returned to your shop page) and then click on the settings button for that pattern

Then click “mange testing”

And then “post a tester call”

Hi!! Welcome!
First you have to create a shop. There are multiple ways to open up a shop, one of them is to, go to the home page, and click the drop down menu with lines:

Then, you’ll scroll down, and click ‘add pattern’ from there, you can explore ribuild, and create your own patterns.

Hope this helps!! :heartpulse:
You can also DM me, I can try my best to help, and show you some basic techniques.

Ribbuild is the pattern writing interface here on Ribblr, so you will have to learn how to use it

If you mean you have a pattern written for us to test, there are testing guidelines you need to read and become familiar with

If this isn’t part of what you are asking ignore this, but if it is… After you create your pattern you can post pattern test.

There are a couple ways to do this,

  1. In your shop go scroll down and find your pattern, on the cover there should be a little circle with a clipboard

Click on it and you should see this

Click post a tester call and it will start creating the tester call for you then you add all the information, etc.

  2. You can go to the testing zone tab and click create topic and start from scratch.

I would recommend using method 1 because it formats/ gives you a outline of the tester call vs using method 2 you have to do it all yourself/ from scratch.

Both work though! I hope this helps, and it was part of what you were wondering… if not, just ignore this

Do you have to write the complete pattern here first before posting the test ??

Yes, pattern testing is just to check stuff like math and grammar.
