Hey Guys! I need help. how do you know if the head is big enough for an amigurumi doll (if you’re free-handing)?

depending on what im making, i like the head to be 1 or 2 rounds bigger than the body. so like if the body is 36 stitches around, i make the head 42

Hmm depends on the Ami u r doing
If u want it cute make the head significantly bigger
I usually do 2-3 rounds bigger on the head than the body

I usually work feet upwards so by the time i get to the head i can just compare with what i have

I do that most of the time as well. Honestly I have several WIPS that will never be finished because the head is too small.
