Crochet bags!

Okay, for people who are travelers, or need a bag to put your yarn in, this is like the best!

So I am crocheting beanies and toys for my bus driver aids godson, and she showed me this bag, which is literally so helpful!

There are 6 pockets to store your yarn, although it can’t be giant rolls :( but there is a big open center to put maybe two big rolls in. The one I got had an extra bag, and I put my hooks safety eyes ect, and there are pockets on the sides! Then there are 6 wholes to put your yarn through and keeps the yarn from being everywhere!

Here are some photos of mine! I got it off Amazon! Hope this helps if you need a bag to store yarn :white_heart:

I have a similar one but I use my rectangular one more :person_shrugging: it has plenty of space, several pockets and a built in hook holder I never use :joy: this is what mine looks like

This looks very similar to mine. Great for traveling. Plenty of room, lots of ‘pockets’, light weight. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Exactly! I have a double yarn holder that fits into it and I like to bring that with me if I’m going to be somewhere more than a day or two

How much was it? Some of them are so over priced.

Agreed, that’s why I haven’t asked for one! I really need to get something to carry my projects with me, though - right now I am just using a crocheted purse that is only big enough to hold one small skein of yarn! Makes it very hard to work on the go XD

I also use these bowls, apparently they come with chopsticks?!

Why do crochet bowls have chopsticks?

I got them at Wal mart, and under $10 as opposed to a yarn bowl with the cheapest one starting at $30.

I think it’s meant to be a ramen bowl XD
Or the chopsticks could actually be amigurumi sticks!

17-20 dollars

That’s a clever idea. Using a ramen bowl with the hole for yarn instead.

If you found a timber bowl at the op shop you could just drill a hole in the side for yarn.

What do you do if a yarn baby comes out with the center pull while you are crocheting? Does that cause an issue since you have your yarn going through the small top hole or does it make it easier to set angle and keep going?
