Crochet bandana help 😥

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me, I’m looking for a bandana pattern.

I’ve tried a few and I’m either missing something and don’t understand it, or the pattern comes out looking like underwear. I’m using cotton yarn :yarn: any ideas or free patterns?

maybe a granny stitch bandana?

maybe add a scalloped border around the bandana so it looks less like underwear as well.
