I’m in a major crochet block at the worst time. I have a deadline in 50 days for assorted gifts. Problem, I want to crochet, but I don’t physically feel like it and I have no clue what to make. I know a few things I have to make (2 more granny square backpacks, leggy frogs, mini graduation caps) but I don’t wanna. It’s a conflicting feeling. What do I do?? If you can, send patterns (Free), send help, send advice, I don’t know, I just need to get out of the crochet block.
Thank you,
Jay/Zod

oof… i’m sorry. what helps me is to make something small and silly, like a quick make that will make you happy when you look at it. it helps me get back into crocheting by making something I WANT. i loved making @sukimaecrochet’s kuchi kopi (18 rounds, i believe), @LittleCreatures’s frog (9 rounds)… what’s your favorite animal?? maybe i could find a quick pattern for it that would be cute :]

i’ve been wanting to make this one!!
it’s so cute
it looks like 20-30 rounds, but they seem to be rounds with a small stitch count :]
mantis:
all the ones i found were wayyyy too intricate

this is the only small one i found…
hope that helps!! i gtg, but if you need anything else lmk - i’ll be back later :]

Throw some options in a hat and pick randomly? I was very anxious cuz I have so many I want to do but idk which to start with. So that’s what I did… I felt a load of relief after.

Oh I feel this, I’m getting over it by testing for different people. Go out to the testing zone and see if anybody’s projects look interesting. I’ve found a lot of amazing patterns that way and met some amazing pattern writers! Hang in there, hope you get over the crocheters block soon!

Thank you! I’m a little afraid to test for others though because when I hosted a tester call, it didn’t work correctly, so I don’t want to get a bad rep if something doesn’t work again.
