Crochet handpaws for costume

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, so if it’s not, will someone please move this? Thank you.

I am making my own Halloween costume this year, based off an original comic book character - a werewolf (see art below). I am making the head with eva foam and then adding fur to it.

However, I simply would rather not sew the handpaws. I would prefer to crochet the handpaws, then felt them to make them soft and fuzzy.

So, my question is, have any of you done this? I’ve only seen where one person online has crocheted handpaws. Do you think I could actually do it?

Of course you could. You could start with looking at cat paw gloves as a starting point if you need to see something visually

I found these online:

You can either use fuzzy / furry yarn for the glove part, or a normal wool based yarn and then use a dog slicker brush to make it fuzzy looking.
