Oh were you the person posting the daily updates about the Pepsi sweater a couple weeks ago? I kept seeing those posts and was amazed at how quickly you were making it.
yes i was lol. i didn’t make much progress on week days, but i had nothing to do those weekends so i just finished a show i was warching and crocheted all day lol
Best kinds of weekends
I made it in a silver black bamboo yarn (expensive lol)…the first 4 inches were made wrong though at the bottom because that was the first thing I ever made and didn’t know what I was doing lol. It was like a purl instead of a knit on the right side. I wish I could share a pic but it’s in storage at the moment. I get bored easily with the normal stitches and same shapes so I decided to go all out with lace. I think I may have gotten the pattern on lovecrafts actually.
i also made a granny hexagon cardigan, but mine is in like pastel rainbow colors! it’s still my favorite make. i also recently made myself a granny square bag!
Such a cute bag, it looks like it has a little window into colorfulness.
Ooooo silver black bamboo yarn sounds so soft!
Those are both absolutely adorable! And those editing skills are amazing!
thank you! the pink backdrop with the lights is something i have at home in my office and it’s honestly the best decision i’ve made since i’m able to get consistent photos!
Wow that’s an actual backdrop??? I thought it was just a supper cool background that you added to the photo!
it is! i kind of DIY’d it haha. it’s a long piece of fabric i bought from joann’s (rip ), then some fairy lights, pink artificial flowers, and a heart banner/dangly thing.
I’m going to have to attempt to make something like that in my room if I have the space, currently I’ve been using the counter top at work, and the back cover of my ipad, and if I’m really in a pinch my blanket if my ipad case is to small for the piece.
I would love to get a natural background with flowers but by the time I get out of work it’s already dark ;-;
something that i used to use that is very small and budget-friendly is actually buying stuff from the dollar tree!
i used to get two placemats in colors that i liked, set one down as the base/floor and the other leaning against something as the backdrop, then photograph it that way. then, once you’re done taking the photos, the little placemats can be stored away in drawers! some other options i can think of are buying scraps of fabric from their craft section or using posterboard. that way it saves a lot of space!
That’s actually a good idea, I might have to head there soon
That’s great!!
Love the Pepsi sweater/ jumper!
oh thank you!
