What is something that you crocheted or knitted just for yourself?
I know a lot of us make gifts for people when crocheting or knitting, but what is something that you made specifically for yourself?
I’m currently making a Granny Hex Sweater, with these colors.
Wow. I can’t even think of one thing. I’m going to have to put some thought into this and make something for me.
I think it’s important for us to make something for ourselves every once in a while.
This project kind of sits on the back burner and slowly gets worked up but I’m excited to have something to keep as my own that I made with my own hands. I have a rainbow top as well that I made for a pride parade last year!
well mine isnt crocheted its using the knitting machine but i am making 2 different blankets that i told you about

I have made a few pieces of clothing formyself, but that is it. Unfortunately, I stay so busy (still not sure how when I am unemployed, but whatever) that I don’t usually have time to make stuff for myself on top of what I make for family, my business, and charity. I hope to change that in the future, though.
My favorite thing I made of those clothing pieces is my Beetlejuice sweater, even though it doesn’t fit very well. I don’t have a picture of it right now, unfortunately, but this old screensot was the inspiration:

Ok. I’ve decided. I am going to make a lighthouse and a lantern set in plush yarn. I just had the idea, so don’t know how long it will take, but it’s for me and I’ll share it on Ribblr.
It’s in reference to my favorite song that talks of a steady lighthouse and lower lights that need to be minded to guide ships through a narrow channel to safety.

Pretty much every penguin I make whether it is for a test or not is mine to keep lol! This past Christmas, kind of out of laziness, our tree was just made up of penguins, most of which I crocheted!

I made a knitted lace cover-up type thing. Now that it has been brought to my attention it’s crazy how many things were for others
i made this hexagon cardigan and pepsi sweater for myself, as well as this blanket. besides a few beginner projects, that’s about it
