Knitting flat is way easier than knitting in the round

  1. I hate chunky yarn with a burning passion
  2. Sewing is NOT that bad, it’s actually pretty fun
  3. Putting felt/pipe cleaners on amigurumi is a crime if it’s not sewn on or crocheted over

ooh- mine is that squeaky hooks aren’t annoying :woman_shrugging: like your yarn’s gonna squeak, it’s not that bad

ok- for sweaters, I don’t think blanket yarn, Chenille, velvet, etc. are the best for sweaters imo just because of the texture for me
and uhhh I never got the hang of the magic ring  I use a loose slipknot and ch1, because you can tighten it unlike ch2

I don’t think I would ever be able to crochet sweaters with blanket, white yarn, but I do think that magic circles are very easy and hand knitting is also pretty easy. I’ve done it lots of times before.

Crochet pants are a no-go. If you want to make some, go ahead, but my sensory issues can’t handle that.

Also, Lily Sugar’n Cream is a great yarn and no one can convince me otherwise. Sure, it’s not my favorite, but I still love working with it and it has great, sturdy results.

I never thought I would ever crochet pants but here I am working on a pair of granny square pants and it is actually working up way quicker than I thought. I am making them in the bigger granny square size (* definitely not the small granny squares :grimacing:) I would not have the patience to do that.
