Crochet Pattern Dilemma, Please Help!!!

Hey ribblrians!!

I’m crocheting this mushroom gnome form an Etsy pattern (I don’t think the pattern is there anymore though). Im on row 19 and realised I missed a row of inc. it’s supposed to be sc6, inc than a row of sc7, inc then 8 rows of sc then sc7, dec. However, I somehow forgot to do the sc7, Inc so I’m now at the point where I’m supposed to dec then 4 rows of sc then the rest of the dec rows. Do I just continue and have the shape be a tiny bit straighter or should I undo 8 rows…???!!! Or is there another solution? Any help is appreciated!

Attached below is how it looks so far and what is going to look like:

  • Frog 8 rows
  • Continue and pretend nothing happened
  • Other (comment below)

i think you’d be alright if you left it- I mean, I’ve done it quite a few times! maybe just stuff it a little more at the bottom to gift it a rounded look! :growing_heart:

Well I think that if you missed one row if there’s no time limit than I think you should just undo the row u missed and than continue and act like nothing happened hope this helps, i really hope this helps please reply if it does

Whenever something like that happens to I usually frog because it’s hard for me to choose new projects and because I like the literal act of crocheting and there’s no rush to finish it (and I’m a perfectionist)

Tysm everyone for your opinions/advice!! It was super helpful! I’m thinking that I’ll just do a sc6, dec then the sc then the rest of the dec so it may be a tiny bit smaller, but we’ll see. If I remember I’ll post the finished thing here! It’s for my mums birthday (I started like 2 days ago and her birthday was on the 11th…)
