I don’t hate it but it is a pain to work with. If it wasn’t so darn expensive, I’d use it all the time though cuz it is sooooo satisfying when you’re done
Autistically (to be clear this is my personal Autistic experience & I am not in anyway implying all autistics would feel the same In anyway) for my brain no I can’t, because they are so different in my opinion, but I completely get that you can’t change it, plus I haven’t tried a lot of yarn types yet, so I don’t think I can honestly say I have a favorite yet, but I do know unless it’s soft (to me) and has any wool% in it I won’t use it unless its for someone I really care about, because it’s so hard for me to use texture wise, but I have no problem if it’s a soft yarn basically, and also I swear sparkly velvet is a evil texture just NO NOPE I’m good.
In General other then my answers animals & monsters/mythical creatures, all my answers depend upon my mood/vibe about the project, like do I see it & think I MUST HAVE THAT IN MY WARDROBE ASAP, or (insert loved ones name here) WOULS LOVE THAT THEY MUST HAVE IT AND I WILL MAKE IT FOR THEM THEY SHALL BE OBSESSED WHEN THEY SEE IT, along with the I think this might help (insert loved one’s name here or their loved one’s name) feel better if they saw that and I could give it to them, so I don’t have a category in the clothes vs. Amigurumi vs. small vs. big answer, I have the would someone I care about or they care about like this, would it help them, and the must make myself that because the idea of having that (animal, sweater, blanket) makes me do a happy dance, I’m that kind of maker, my first projects were for my mum, my 1st & 2nd plush went to my chosen family little sister as a gift, my first project for myself was a 3 layer crochet chain necklace (I was 11 and didn’t now much beyond chain and slip stitch) but I was 11 and thought it was the coolest thing and it wade me giddy to have a 3 layer chain necklace with the added bonus of being quite since it’s yarn not metal, but I felt so awesome wearing it, that’s the kind of projects I gravitate towards and the kind of maker I am
