Hello everyone!
If you saw my post last night about a crochet race, well, this is the race!
Here are the rules and parameters for the race:
You must chain 50 and (optional) send a picture of your chain in the comments under this post (this is trust system-ey, so please don’t lie, this is supposed to be fun) Comment your time under this post.
The race begins after you make the slipknot and there is no need to fasten off to end
Use a hook between the sizes of 4.00mm and 6.00mm and a yarn that works for the hook (exaggerated example but if you wouldn’t use a 2.00 for plush yarn, you wouldn’t use thread for a 5.00) Comment what hook size you used when you state your time.
NO CHEATING (this includes lying about your time, although I won’t know unless it’s ridiculous, no making a chain shorter or longer than 50, and no discouraging comments, which includes gloating about a faster time) Cheating will result in you being disqualified.
I will update the leaderboard every once and a while and comment it under this post. The race ends at 12:00 on July 25th (tomorrow) EST. Then I will edit this post and announce the top three finishers!
